As far back as 1972, R. Wendell Presgrave was involved in the plumbing industry. He owned and operated a company called Courthouse Plumbing. In 1982, he sold that business in order to launch My Plumber PLUS. The new company was founded to prove Mr. Presgrave’s belief that homeowners and businesses could receive top-quality plumbing service 7 days a week, 15 hours a day, without sacrificing quality and without being charged overtime or emergency fees. His model was so effective, it helped set a new industry standard.

OUR HISTORY

When My Plumber PLUS first opened, Mr. Presgrave personally handled office duties, taking calls, ordering parts, and organizing advertising, while two technicians managed field service. The business originally served three counties in Northern Virginia and the City of Alexandria. In 2000, operations expanded to include Suburban Maryland.

As the company grew to meet the needs of its customers, it rebranded as My Plumber PLUS. It now provides plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services, delivering a full range of solutions under one trusted name.

Today, My Plumber PLUS operates across 17 counties in Northern Virginia and Suburban Maryland, responding to more than 600 service requests each week. The company has been recognized by local communities for its outstanding service, use of advanced technology, and dedication to meeting the needs of homeowners and businesses throughout the region.
